VILLAGE OF MURRAY, NEBRASKA

March 10, 2015

The Murray, Nebraska Board of Trustees met in regular session on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 7:00 pm in the Murray Municipal Building. Present: Trustees: Bill Johnson, Stan Flak, Mike Gillott, Debbie Newhouse, Absent: George Blessing; Village Clerk Eileen Murdoch; attending: guests.

Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by posting in (3) three public places as shown by the certificate attached to these minutes. Notice of the meeting was simultaneously given to the Chairman and all members of the Board of Trustees. Their acknowledgement of receipt of notice and agenda is attached to these minutes. All proceedings thereafter were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public.

Chairman Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM and informed the audience of the location of the open meetings act poster.

Trustee Blessing entered the meeting at 7:01PM.

Motion by Newhouse, seconded by Flak to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2015, regular meeting; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Blessing, Gillott, Flak; motion carried.

Motion by Newhouse, seconded by Flak to acknowledge receipt of the Treasurer's report; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Blessing, Gillott, Flak; motion carried.

Motion by Newhouse, seconded by Blessing to approve claims as revised; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Blessing, Gillott, Flak; motion carried.

Maintenance Report.

Les Graber, building permit for garage at 125 E. Young St. Motion by Blessing, seconded by Flak to approve the building permit for the garage for Graber; Ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Blessing, Gillott, Flak, motioned carried.

Linda Behrens and Pat Zeigler, grant for recycling bins at the parks. Motion by Flak, seconded by Gillott to complete the application for the grant for recycling bins for the parks; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Gillott, Flak; nays: Blessing, motioned carried.

Steve Harris, water line and sewer fees.

John Harrington/Marie Gregoire, Murray Alerts proposal Motion by Newhouse, seconded by Flak to approve the Murray Alerts program for nine months and reevaluate the first of January; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Flak; nays: Blessing, Gillott, motion carried.

Mike Gillott, approve building permit for garage extension. Motion by Flak, seconded by Newhouse to approve the building permit for garage extension; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Blessing, Flak; Abstain: Gillott, motion carried.

Review county recycling partnership. Motion by Blessing seconded by Blessing to discontinue the Cass County trailer recycling; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Blessing, Gillott; nays: Flak, motion carried.

Motion by Newhouse, seconded by Blessing to adjourn the meeting at 8:33 PM; ayes: Johnson, Newhouse, Blessing, Gillott, Flak; motion carried.

I, the undersigned Village Clerk of the Village of Murray, Nebraska, hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of proceedings had and done by the Chairperson and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Murray to the best of my knowledge; that the agenda was kept continually current and available for public inspection at the office of the Village Clerk; that the minutes were in written form and available for public inspection within (10) working days and prior to the next convened meeting of said body; the minutes are published in summary form, upon request a complete copy is available at the Village Office.
