VILLAGE OF MURRAY, NEBRASKA
April 11, 2017


The Murray, Nebraska Board of Trustees met in regular session on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 7:00 pm in the Murray Municipal Building. Present: Trustees: Mike Gillott, Brian Coffman, Stan Flak, George Blessing, Alan Miller; Village Clerk Eileen Murdoch; attending: guests.

Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by posting in (3) three public places as shown by the certificate attached to these minutes. Notice of the meeting was simultaneously given to the Chairman and all members of the Board of Trustees. Their acknowledgement of receipt of notice and agenda is attached to these minutes. All proceedings thereafter were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public.

Chairman Gillott called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM and informed the audience of the location of the open meetings act poster.

Motion by Coffman, seconded by Flak to approve the minutes of the March 14, 2017 regular meeting and the March 30, 2017 special meeting; ayes: Gillott, Coffman, Flak, Blessing, Miller; motion carried.

Motion by Flak, seconded by Coffman to acknowledge receipt of the Treasurer’s report; ayes: Gillott, Coffman, Flak, Blessing, Miller; motion carried.
Claims approval. Motion by Coffman, seconded by Miller to approve claims; ayes: Gillott, Coffman, Flak, Blessing, Miller; motion carried.

Maintenance Report.

Cornerstone Bank, building permit, Rock Bluff Road. Motion by Miller, seconded by Coffman, to approve the building permit for Cornerstone Bank; Ayes: Gillott, Coffman, Flak, Blessing, Miller, motion carried.

Marc Rosso, JEO, discuss water line in Main Street, NDOR road construction.

Jay Conaway, 110 W. Main Street, general zoning questions.

Dean Nickels, Tyson Park Eagle Scout projects.

Plattsmouth Amateur Radio club permission to use Young Memorial Park for radio days. Motion by Miller, seconded by Coffman to approve use of Young Memorial Park for radio days on June 24 and June 25th; ayes: Gillott, Coffman, Flak, Blessing, Miller, motion carried.

Discuss vacating alley between Campbell Street and Young St. east of Latta. Review/discuss items for auction with Big Iron.

Discuss costs and availability of automatic payments of utility bills.

Review/discuss camera options for tree/limb/leaf dump site.

Discuss plan for Murray clean-up day.

Motion by Miller, seconded by Blessing to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 PM; ayes: Gillott, Coffman, Flak, Blessing, Miller, motion carried.

I, the undersigned Village Clerk of the Village of Murray, Nebraska, hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of proceedings had and done by the Chairperson and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Murray to the best of my knowledge; that the agenda was kept continually current and available for public inspection at the office of the Village Clerk; that the minutes were in written form and available for public inspection within (10) working days and prior to the next convened meeting of said body; the minutes are published in summary form, upon request a complete copy is available at the Village Office.
